My Essays on Economics (and Invariably, Politics)

Sometimes I might hear something on the news that sets me off, or somebody will say something that I totally disagree with and it will get me writing about it. Once in a while I will sit down and crank out an essay non-stop for an hour and it's done, sometimes longer. Occasionally, I will write something over several days and by the time it's complete I wonder what my point was. And sometimes, I forget to save the file for posterity, like the Anna Nicole Smith diatribe that I printed out and passed around. I didn't date these, because I had no idea that I would be posting them here, but you can probably tell the rough date by subject matter discussed. And if you can't, well, then I guess they're timeless pieces. You'll notice that certain themes resonate, but they were written as stand alone articles. Anyway, if you read a couple of these you will understand why I like TX Rep. Ron Paul. Unfortunately, his campaign won't go anywhere, and if it did, he wouldn't.
